What’s my location number?

Each parking location/spot is assigned a number that must be used for parking on it. This number can be found either printed on a sticker on a parking meter, on a sign, or painted on the ground.

Why am I charged $20 when my parking was much less than that?

The MobileNOW! Basic subscription is a pre-paid account, similar to Starbucks ® and Toll Tags. This allows you to draw instantly from your account with less credit card hassle. Pre-paid funds in your MobileNOW! wallet do not expire and are good for parking in all locations that have MobileNOW! signage.

How can I start a charging session?

Pay-by-cell EV charging is a straightforward process that consists of the following steps:

  • Remove the connector from the EV charger dock.
  • Plug the connector into the charging port on the EV.
  • Launch the MobileNOW! smartphone app or log in to the mobile website.
  • Enter the appropriate EV charger #, Liberty ID #, parking space #, or scan the QR code with the app.
  • Pay for charging and receive an authorization code.
    NOTE: With the Android App the authorization code does not always come up on the screen. Please close the App and reopen it. This should bring up the screen with the code so you can proceed as normal.
  • Enter the code and the # sign on the keypad mounted on the EV charger.

 

Once you have finished charging, remove the connector from the vehicle and put it back into the dock.

 

Note: It is not possible to extend a charging session. The customer MUST purchase a new code and enter it into the keypad on the charger.

How can I enable session expiration notifications (iOS)?

If you have disabled the notifications in the past and want to start receiving the session expiration warnings again, please follow the steps below:

  1. Log in to the MobileNOW! iOS app and tap on More.
  2. Tap on Session expiration warning

  3. Tap on Enable Notifications…
  4. Follow the instructions shown in the pop-up (steps 5-9).
  5. Exit the MobileNOW! app and open the device’s Settings.
  6. Tap on Notifications.
  7. Find the MobileNOW! app from the list and tap on it to open.
  8. To enable the notifications slide the button next to Allow Notifications to the right.
       
  9. Exit device’s Settings, re-open the MobileNOW! app and tap OK.
       
  10. Now you will receive session expiration reminders from the MobileNOW! app.

How can I get a refund?

Please contact our customer support via email ([email protected]) and describe your request. Don’t forget to add your registered phone number to your email.

In the event that you are entitled to a refund, MobileNOW! will issue such refund to your original payment source, if possible, or alternatively by paper check. Refunds will be processed within 5 business days of your request.

Note: MobileNOW! is a mobile parking service provider for the local parking authority/operator and since the parking cost goes directly to them, we are unable to cancel/refund these charges. Please contact your parking operator to see if they are willing to accommodate your request.

What if I accidentally pay for the incorrect space or zone number?

It is very important to review all of your parking details before starting  your session. Parking transactions can’t be changed once started, as no parking operator allows us to have that functionality. Should you start a session using the incorrect space/zone number, you will need to immediately start another session with the correct space/zone number, as officers use your space/zone number to identify and verify your parking payment.

If you receive a ticket due to using the incorrect space/zone number in your transaction, you will still have the opportunity to appeal this ticket  directly with the parking operator. You’ll need to access your MobileNOW! account with your cell phone number and PIN to retrieve your parking payment (My History). You can use this as proof of your payment for  your appeal, should it be needed. MobileNOW! doesn’t issue or handle citations, and certainly can’t guarantee the outcome of any adjudication request you may choose to make, but having proof you did pay for parking, just with a minor error in your transaction, will go a long way in stating your case.

What if I received a ticket, but I believe it’s issued wrongly?

According to regulations MobileNOW! as the service provider can not invalidate and/or appeal tickets for the customers. If you believe that the ticket/citation was issued in error or you have other reasons to appeal the ticket/citation please contact your local Police/Parking Authority.

How can I add/edit/remove payment source?

Note: You can not edit stored payment source information. Please add new payment source after what you can delete the obsolete payment source from your account.

Can I use MobileNOW! for parking everywhere?

No, you may park only where you can see MobileNOW! logos, QR codes or some other signs indicating that MobileNOW! is operating in that particular area.

How can I make sure the correct vehicle is being parked (in case I have more than one vehicle registered on my account)?

If you use MobileNOW! app for parking, the license plate number you last parked with will automatically appear when starting the application, however you may change this number to the required one manually.

When texting, just enter the correct license plate number into your text message.

How do I enter city as a parking location at the web page?

First of all, log in to your account at https://mobile-now.us  using either computer, smartphone or tablet. The web page works with every Internet connected device that has web browser.

You can start parking by two ways:

  • typing in the location (parking space) number that you can find on the MobileNOW! sticker
  • typing in the city name

Entering location by city/location name:

  1. Start typing in the city name and the system will propose found locations. Click on the correct city/location.

  3. In order to extend the parking you started with multi-space parking meter (in selected locations) please enter the access code. If you start new parking you do not need to enter anything here
  4. Select the parking duration from drop-down menu.

  1. Start to type in the location (space) number at the text box. The system will try to find spaces that mach your entry. If you do not see the location/space number you want to use just keep typing in the numbers until the correct number and location will appear.

  2. Click on space number with the city/location you are at.

    Note: Depending on the location you can also manage your session on the parking meter.
Do I need to display a receipt when using MobileNOW!?

No, you don’t need to display a ticket when using mobile parking. The beauty of cashless payments is that there is no need for any receipts. Enforcement officers check your parking via handhelds in real time.

However keep in mind that either you are using mobile or conventional parking you still need to pay for parking in order not to get a parking ticket/violation.

How much does it cost to use the service?

The parking rates are the same whether you use cell phone parking or conventional methods.

Additionally, you will be charged a small convenience fee ($0.25-$0.45 depending on the city) for each parking transaction. For further information click here.

The local parking authorities set and charge the fees for your parking sessions, MobileNOW! is only a payment solution. Please refer to parking area regulation signage and fee schedules. You can usually find this information in your parking lot, garage or on your meter or pay station.

What if the mobile payment app doesn’t work?

First, please make sure that your phone has Internet connection. In some locations the mobile network might not be adequate to support Internet connection. Easiest way to check the connection would be to start a browser in your phone and try to access web pages.

Secondly, if your app is not working or you’re getting failed connection messages, please make sure that you are using the latest version of the MobileNOW! smartphone app. In order to do that, please check iTunes AppStore or Google Play for the updates. If there is an update available, please update your MobileNOW! app to the latest version.

And what if your phone can access the Internet, but MobileNOW! app still doesn’t work? Well, it happens. Extremely seldom, but still… In this case you need to use other means – coins and/or credit card (where available) to pay for your parking.
